The 2006 finalists were chosen from more than 1,300 nominations from 300 companies. The only global awards program for the information security industry, the SC Magazine Global Awards were enhanced in 2006 to reflect technical excellence around the world as well as professional achievement and the important role information security professionals play in helping to shape the industry. The U.S. Award winners will be announced at an event in San Jose, California, on February 14, 2006.
