Press Release: PGP Corporation Joins AIA

PGP CORPORATION ANNOUNCES THAT IT HAS JOINED THE
AEROSPACE INDUSTRIES ASSOCIATION (AIA)

Encryption leader named to AIA Supplier Management Council

Palo Alto, CA/19 January, 2005 PGP Corporation, a global leader in enterprise encryption solutions, today announced that it has become an Associate Member of the Aerospace Industries Association (AIA). The AIA represents more than 285 of the nation's major manufacturers of commercial, military, and business aircraft, helicopters, and related components and equipment. PGP Corporation was recommended for membership by AIA companies based on its outstanding performance as an industry supplier. As a member of the Supplier Management Council, PGP Corporation will be part of a key forum devoted to enhancing customer-supplier relationships.

"The AIA is the industry's premier organization and represents the largest avionics manufacturers and suppliers in the U.S.," said William Lewandowski, AIA vice president of supplier management. "The Supplier Management Council invited PGP Corporation to join its ranks because of recommendations from the company's aerospace customers. By participating in the Council, leading suppliers such as PGP Corporation contribute to improving the capabilities and knowledge of all our members."

Although 11 of the top 15 aerospace and defense companies already use its encryption solutions, PGP Corporation continues to strengthen and expand its industry relationships. Aerospace customers such as BAE Systems in the U.K. believe PGP encryption solutions safeguard the sensitive information and communications critical to its continued success.

"The automatic, transparent encryption provided by our network-based PGP Universal solution is key to building the secure, collaborative environment needed by aerospace and other industries," said Andrew Krcik, vice president of marketing for PGP Corporation. "That's why leading aerospace and defense companies mandate the use of PGP encryption by their suppliers. Participating in the AIA's Supplier Management Council will allow us to ensure aerospace-specific requirements are incorporated in our product plans."
